Interaction Design Analysis for Enchant

An Interaction Design Analysis for Enchant, a wearable digital Assassin-like game is targeted towards children 8-16 to add an interactive gameplay component to waiting periods that supports physical role-playing. The device also addresses the issue of children’s preference for video games and smart phones over physical gameplay; Enchant has no digital screen and requires physical movements to trigger actions and events. The product’s logo is illustrated in Figure 1, and was co-created by Balwinder Singh, Hilary Shao, and I in Fall 2015.
